Cookie Policy

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site trackers. It keeps a few small preferences in your own browser, and — only if you say yes — uses Google Analytics to count page views. Here is the complete inventory.

Last updated: · BORMANSA

  • No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking storage of any kind.
  • Five preference values, all stored locally and never sent to us.
  • Google Analytics loads only after you accept it; decline and the script is never fetched.
  • You can change your answer at any time, and clearing your browser data removes every one of them.

1. What this site actually stores

Strictly speaking, this site sets no HTTP cookies at all. It uses your browser's local storage and session storage, which are the same idea — a small value kept on your device — but are never attached to a network request, so nothing is transmitted to a server.

Everything in the table below except the last two entries is strictly necessary in the sense EU and UK law uses the term: it exists only to deliver a feature you asked for. The analytics entries are not, which is exactly why they sit behind a banner that asks first and treats no answer as a no.

The five preference values contain no identifier and cannot be read by another website. The two Google Analytics cookies do contain a randomly generated identifier — that is what makes a returning visitor countable — and they exist only if you accepted analytics.

3. Third-party requests

The site's typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives your IP address, the page you are on and your user agent as part of that request. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests for advertising or profiling.

The second request happens only if you accept analytics: the gtag.js library is fetched from googletagmanager.com and the statistics go to Google Analytics. Until you accept — and permanently, if you decline — that script is never requested.

Beyond those two there is no social widget, no embedded player, no advertising pixel and no tag manager anywhere on the site.

If your organisation's policy forbids third-party hosting, blocking those domains leaves the site fully functional — it simply falls back to your system typefaces and measures nothing.

5. How to see and remove them

Every browser lets you inspect and clear local storage. In Chrome, Edge or Brave: DevTools → Application → Storage. In Firefox: DevTools → Storage → Local Storage. In Safari: Develop → Show Web Inspector → Storage.

Clearing site data for this domain, or browsing in a private window, removes all of it. The site keeps working; it simply forgets your theme and language and asks your browser again.

To change your analytics answer, use the two buttons at the top of this page; the choice takes effect immediately, and declining stops any further measurement at once. The cookies Google has already set are removed when you clear site data for this domain.

6. Inside the game

The ARCHEVIA game builds store your saves, settings and key bindings on your own device, or in your Storefront's cloud save service if you have that enabled. Those files stay between you, your device and your Storefront. We receive nothing from them.

7. Changes

If this inventory changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. Where a change requires your consent, you will be asked for it before anything new is stored.
